Let me see,,,,,,,, where do I began.  My five days at Miraval were filled with an variety of emotions and experiences.  Let’s start with the Quantum Leap.  A mixture of calm and anxiety combined.  You are to climb up a telephone pole and stand on the top.  It’s  long story, but I learned a lot along the way.  How to deal with stressful situations and breath and then move on.  You should have seen me on my knees shaking trying to get the nerve up to slide one foot under myself and stand up.  I stood there for a few minutes overcoming fear and letting it go.  WOW, powerful stuff

I got relaxing massages, including a Watsu massage done in a covered pool at 97 degrees.  I ate like a king with all the food included.  No tipping was allowed.  You just ordered what you wanted to eat or drink all day long.  I had a couple of dinners served at the coffee table in the bar while I watched NBA playoffs. Not very mindful, but it was all about me!!!!!

I overcame my basic few of horses and took an Equine Experience corse where you work with horses.  You clean hoofs, groom, and  then go into the  training ring and actually control the horse with thought and intention.  I know that sounds very Woo Woo, but it is true.

One of the best parts of the trip was the walk and talks with a woman named Leigh Weinraub.  She is a tennis coach and wellness counselor.  What an awesome woman.  We had a couple of very productive walks around the property.  I fell in love with,,,,,,,,,, a house as  we walked along. (I’m still working on her.)  There are a couple of pictures of the home.  If I buy it I get to stay at “Summer Camp for Adults” year round.  It is tempting to just chose to live in paradise.

My second adventure up a pole was called out “Out on a Limb”.  The instructor blindfolded me with a red bandana.  Once at the top you are to walk across the horizontal pole.  I thought,,,, shit, I can’t do that on the ground.  Surprisingly, I made it across and then walked backwards to the middle and did a yoga pose.

Ahhhhhhh,  what a great trip.
