I spent 5 nights in a beautiful suite at the Sheraton.  Everyday I had breakfast and often dinner since it was free.  They had my favorite Polish vodka, freshly made Pho, and all the sushi you could eat. One day a took a on  delta river cruise visiting a local market, a temple of the Cao Dai, and had lunch with the local people.  We got to observe a ceremony at the Cao Dai temple that was really cool.  Up until one of the kids fell and starting screaming during what was almost like  a catholic mass.  I really liked the Cao Dai philosophy that was started in 1926 under French rule.

The Bitexco Tower was a real treat too.  The observation tower was right under the heliport.  Check out the little Chihuahua doing downward facing dog.  He held the pose for almost a minute.

After watching the Masters Golf tournament I was inspired to go to the driving range in Dalat.  The town is high in the mountains and has cool crisp air and pine trees.

Today I finished off the trip at the Grand Hyatt with a fabulous meal and a 90 minute Thai massage before heading to the airport.  I leave for Dallas in 2 hours (11 1/2 hour flight), and can’t wait to get home.  I decided to cut the trip short and not go to Japan because I have been suffering from a sinus infection or allergies for most of the trip.

Thanks for visiting my blog.
