My first Day in Dumaguette

After a 30 minute flight from Cebu City to Dumaguette, I was promptly met by the staff of Pura Vida Beach& Dive Resort. This trip has ended up being more of a dive trip than a yoga retreat. There are 4 of us in the group and are all divers. The resort had the most amazing dive boat. It was very wide, roomy and well designed. When we got to each dive site they would brief us on the dive, put all of our equipment on and help you into the water. I will have to say the diving here is spectacular. Being treated like a king is also kind of nice.
When we tied up for lunch at Apo island, a local fisherman was using the back area to de-scale the fish he had caught. Thats one of the dive masters doing the photo op with the fish.
