The comment “Newly married, too fat, soon to die” refers to the typical Puerto Vallarta American tourist. I get to see the “party boat” bring them over everyday from PV. While walking back to my hotel I walked past group of drunken Americans with drink in hand waiting to get transported back to the big boat. One of them said, “How the hell did I get here?”  She was just a bit wasted. By 3:00PM everyday the people have all gone, and the whole beach is empty and quiet.
In the mean time I am enjoying eating my way through my vacation. Yesterday was fruit, yogurt and granola for breakfast after yoga. Then a 2 hour massage that was most enjoyable. Then cob salad for lunch, and fish for dinner.
You know you can NEVER have on too much sunscreen. Especially when tomorrow I turn 55. Gotta keep that youthful looking skin. The bay of Yelapa is known as a world class paragliding destination. There has been an instructor here all week teaching. It’s incredible to watch. They practice collapsing the wing and free falling, then quickly re-filling their wing and flying again. The wind blows in from the ocean and up the mountain cannon, making for great updrafts.
The sun is setting and needs my attention.
Peace, love and brown rice.
