After spending 3 nights at the beach town of Sanur, Bali, I have moved to the mountains of Ubud for a couple of days. I found this great hotel owned by a Belgium couple named Dirk and Saar. It is only 10 months old and has 6 rooms. The site and buildings are designed with immaculate attention to detail. The vanishing horizon pool looks out over the valley of rice fields. It is so quiet and relaxing, it makes it hard to leave.
I had to work part of the day yesterday. I actually had a great time touring all the stone artisans that surround this area. I was with a great guide from a freight forwarding company.
