I am back on my favorite side of the world that is exactly 12 hours ahead of Dallas, Texas.  Being the lucky man that I am, the flight over to Japan is 13 hours of wining and dining in the First Class Cabin.  Basically its like hanging out in your pajamas and laying on the couch. (with room service).  The view of the Alaska coastline made me think again of how cool it would be to spend the summer there cruising on a Nordhavn yacht.

After arriving in Japan I took a very long hot shower at the Admirals Club, checked email, and got a massage.

The Sheraton Hotel in Saigon was my home for the next few days.  The first day I toured the Cu Chi tunnels.   It is a place I always wanted to go.  An amazing system of three level tunnels built by hand.  The Cu Chi people made what looked like termite mounds as ventalation ports.  It covered a huge area and even had a river escape route.  Two US Military units even set-up camp on top of the tunnels during the American War not knowing what was underneath them.

They made a wider part of the tunnells for tourist……. that were still way too small for me.  Thank god there were not many people there when I toured.
