I am catching up on my blogging.  The first pictures are from my hike to a HUGE waterfall.  Along the way you could see how simple the people live.  The city Dumaguete provides up to 800 pesos  of electrical power for each home. (almost 90%).  The blonde hairy stuff is coconut fiber being dried then woven into ropes.  Many of the little homes grew plants for extra money.

After stopping at private water park I was treating to some fresh coconut juice that is full of electrolytes to re-haydrate my body after the long hike.  The hike has been the only thing so far to cause any pain in my lower back.  Great news for me while trying to self heal my ruptured L4 – L5 disc.  The diving and swimming has beed really good for my back.  The daily massages may have helped too.

While in town we were treated to a parade of grade school kids celebrating United nations Day.  It was a real treat.  I took the pictures of the Mexico group for Jose and Juan back home.  The Tagalong language actually has a very small amount of Spanish words.
